Orphea Home Protection Ant Bait is an insecticide in gel formulation effective against ants. It destroys the nest, eliminating the queen and the entire colony thanks to the delayed effect of the insecticide, which allows the product to be passed on to the other individuals in the nest. The product can be used indoors (private homes and/or public buildings of a residential, commercial or industrial nature) and around buildings (building perimeters, terraces and private gardens). Directions for use:
the bait stations containing Orphea Home Protection Ant Bait must be placed near nests or the ants’ tracked trails. Open the ends of the station along the pre-cut line to allow ants to pass. Activate the station by pressing the capsule fully until all the gel has flowed into the central compartment.

Dose: 0.4 – 0.9 g/m²
To reach the dosage above, place the stations, each containing 5 g of gel, every 5-10 m² depending on the level of infestation (low/high).
Bait stations must be placed close to ant trails or near their nests (we recommend not placing them on top of the nest).
Frequency of application: 7 days after application, inspect the stations and replace them if the bait has been consumed and the infestation persists.
Frequency of treatment: the treatment can be repeated three months after the end of the previous one.
Warning:
when used outdoors, make sure the product is protected from direct sunlight, rain and/or possible wash-off. Orphea Home Protection Ant Bait is toxic to aquatic life with long-lasting effects. Keep out of the reach of children. Read the label before use. Do not release into the environment. Collect spillage. Dispose of the product/container in accordance with current regulations on hazardous waste. In case of contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with water for at least 15 minutes. Do not forget to remove contact lenses. In case of contact with skin, wash with soap and plenty of water, without rubbing. If necessary, take the victim to hospital and show the product label or container, where possible. Do not leave the poisoned person alone. Symptomatic and supportive treatment. IF MEDICAL ADVICE IS NEEDED, KEEP THE CONTAINER OR LABEL AT HAND AND CONTACT A POISON CONTROL CENTRE. Avoid contamination of drains, surface and groundwater systems, and soil. Recover the product from the affected surface and the washing water used for the treatment. In the event of water leakage, prevent spreading by using suitable barrier devices. Recovered product must be disposed of in accordance with local legislation. Contact the competent authorities if the situation cannot be controlled. The product, its container and the dead insects must be disposed of in accordance with local regulations. At the end of the treatment, dispose of unconsumed bait and the bait containers in accordance with current regulations. The product is stable, in its original container, for up to 3 years if stored in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place. Keep the container closed and away from direct sunlight. It is advisable to store the product at temperatures between 5°C and 45°C.
Do not apply in areas recently treated with other insecticides. To avoid resistance, it is advisable to alternate treatments with products based on active ingredients with a different mechanism of action. The product should be used only until the infestation is completely under control. Use the product at the recommended doses and intervals. To avoid risks to the environment, follow the instructions and directions for use. When applying around buildings, avoid application near drains or sewer systems. When treating areas connected to sewer systems, make sure the product is applied in areas not subject to flooding or standing water, in places that cannot be reached by rain, washing water or possible wash-off. The product must be applied safely to minimise the risk of ingestion by children or non-target animals. Do not throw the product on the ground, into watercourses, into the sink or into sewers. Do not release into the environment. Do not apply on surfaces that may come into contact with food or feed.
