Unless one of the exceptions listed below applies, Users acting as European Consumers have the legal right to withdraw from contracts concluded online (distance contracts) within the period specified below, for any reason and without needing to justify it.

Users who do not meet these requirements do not enjoy the rights described in this section. The Consumer shall be liable to the Seller only for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the User must send LIEMI.EU an unequivocal statement of their intention to withdraw from the contract.

For this purpose, the User may use the model withdrawal form available in the definitions section of this document. However, the User is free to express their intention to withdraw from the contract in any other suitable form. To comply with the period within which the right must be exercised, the User must send the withdrawal statement before the withdrawal period expires.

When does the withdrawal period expire?

• If goods are purchased, the withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which the User, or a third party appointed by the User other than the courier, takes possession of the goods.

• If multiple goods ordered together are purchased but delivered separately, or if a single good made up of several lots or pieces is delivered separately, the withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which the User, or a third party appointed by the User other than the courier, takes possession of the last of the goods, lots or pieces.

The Owner refunds all payments received, including, where applicable, delivery costs, to Users who have properly exercised the right of withdrawal.

However, any additional cost resulting from choosing a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by the Owner will be borne by the User.

The refund is made without undue delay and in any case within 7 days from the day LIEMI.EU receives the product(s). Unless otherwise agreed with the User, the refund is made using the same payment method used for the initial transaction. The User does not have to bear any cost as a result of the withdrawal.

… on purchase contracts for physical goods

Unless the Owner has offered to collect the goods, the User must return them to LIEMI.EU or to another person authorised by it to receive them, without undue delay and in any case within 14 days from the day on which they communicated their intention to withdraw from the contract.

The deadline is met if the goods are handed to the courier or to another authorised person before the 14-day period described above expires. The refund may be withheld until the goods have been received.

When exercising the right of withdrawal, the User must return the item intact and complete in every part, including all accessories originally supplied (manuals, cables, inner and outer packaging, labels, certifications, warranty seals, etc.). The product must be returned in its original packaging, free from damage, alteration or signs of wear beyond what is normal for checking its operation. Otherwise, the Owner reserves the right to proportionally reduce the refund amount or refuse the request, in accordance with Article 57, paragraph 2, of the Italian Consumer Code.

The User is also liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from use other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
